Did you get the (I think) 3 bolts off of the backside?? If so, it's still not gonna "slide off"...they rust and pretty much fuse themselves in the spindle...air hammer or beat the snot out of the bolts in the back after loosening just a few turns...new bolts may be needed if you're not careful though.

its easy... its just a bit tricky b/c the bearing housing gets seixzed up in the bear race of the steering nuckle... just tsakes a bit of time... some PB blaster might help ,, and a whole lot of whackin the snot out of it... like said above, loosen the 3 bolts on the back and use them to tap the bearin you out of the knuckle race... if you tappin the bolts be carefull...dont want to damage the threads or heads... them bolts are pretty important... still this job isnt something youd really wanna take to a shop and get raped by labor charges.... unless you really dont feel comfortable doing it them you may wanna give a buddy a call that knows a little more then you,,, or could just take it in and pay the $$$
