Like the title says, sometimes when i turn there is a definate/noticable popping noice in my steering column. Power steering seems fine, athough valvoline oil change boys told me i should have the fluid changed (like i listen to those instant oil change guys anyways[8D])....i poured in some power steering fluid modifier stuff that is supposed to clean it and lube it up really good but does anybody know what this popping noise could be ???
try shacking your steering colum. It should be loose just tighten the screw holding it to the unit. That should solve it. That is what helped mine. Thanks
Not sure which years had it, but my 97 had a TSB or recall that involved the steering column clunking. The dealer changed or adjusted something while it was under warranty. Mine wasn't doing it but they did it to prevent later issues.
