Default Back from the body shop.. take a look

Well I got my truck back from the shop and finally put on my KC Off Road Lights/Light Wing and used my Hypertech programmer.
If you don't remember there was ANOTHER attempted theft on my truck... this was #2.
They had to paint both doors again and replace all the steering column parts that got smashed to crap.
And they stole my CD player... I got a new Alpine MP3 player out of the deal... that sure is a nice touch with the MP3's, now my boys only need to bring ONE CD in the truck instead of 10!
I told them to leave the RAM 1500 decals and V8 decals off... what do you think?
I like the clean look if you ask me.

The Hypertech is GREAT. The truck is a lot more responsive and seems to really take off in 2nd and 3rd gear... money well spent if you ask me.
The Light Wing is a great way to mount off road lights guys. It was easy to install and looks cool too.
I appreciate any feedback.

Looks good. How does the wing mount, and is that a front tow set up, or just a mount for a cooler rack?

The wing mounts a few ways depending on where your front plate holder is.
I had to take my plate holder off and drill 2 holes for the wing.
It comes with self tapping or just plain nuts and bolts.. I used stainless.
I did have to put a piece of 1/4" Lexan between the wing and my bumper.... A) the left light was hitting the hood just a bit when I opened it and B) the lexan keeps the wing off the bumper this way the 2 metals can't "fight with each other" if that makes sense.

As far as the front setup... YES it is a hitch, It is a Hidden Hitch that was made for the front of the RAM.
I put a 3 bike rack on there for when we go camping, I pull a 19' 5th wheel so I needed a place for the bikes.

looks like whoever did your paint did a good job on it and took their time.

sucks to have to do that again. if someone ever did that to me and i found out who did that.. oh there would be hell to pay. hope you find the meth heads that did that.

yeah if you want to put the badges back on, i'd get some of the new ones they look really good on the ol' ram.

where did you get that light wing from?

yeah you did need to put that lexan between the two for some reason the metals don't like each other... i don't know why (sarcasm, as i do know why, dam chemistry)
i wonder if a coat of clear coat paint would stop the reaction between the two metals? something i might try one of these days.

Muddy... the Light Wing is the license plate/off road light holder... it replaces your stock plate holder.

I got the light wing from... http://www.aztrucks.com/Product.asp?product=247
Just Google it and you will find lots of them... search for Carr Light Wing

This is a closer look at the Light Wing.

You can see the 2 holes where my old license plate holder was.

That looks pretty good. Makes for a very clean install, plus it looks to be easily removable later if desired, without leaving unsightly holes in the bumper.
