Default 2001 2500 4x4

Okay guys been reading posts about differant mods a guy can do. Less then 2 weeks ago I bought a 2500 quadcab 4x4 w/5.9l v8 with 4.10 limited slip rearend. I plan to use the truck to pull trailers and a daily driver, I know that I'll never get great milage, but what mods can a guy do that'll help with that and yet not lose any bottom torque? Should I go with the K&N intake and a 3" exhaust? Should i do the 180 t stat since I'll be pulling? Thanks.

I would reccomend all of the above. A good tune up and the single out 3 inch exhaust system will get you good torque. I dont have the K and N intake system but alot of guys here do and they seem to like it. I think that the hypertech programmer set to towing would also help but I don't have one so I don't know for sure.

pretty much a good air intake system.. high flow cat and nice exhaust.. hypertech and 180 degree stat will help.. also even just running the right kinds of oil will help also.. synthetic oil and gear oil will benefit you pretty well
