I use the prestone 5 year stuff. if you use the distilled water with it, you have no problems. I yanked my coolant out a year later after having filled it as I mentioned and there was ZERO sludge buildup on anything. one of the best spots to check is the lower radiator hose. look @ the spring on the inside of the hose and if there is sludge building you'll see it there.

I posted a while back on what you get if you dont use the distilled water, I included a pic of some sludge buildup in the radiator neck that was for about 4~6 weeks of using tap water with the remaining orange coolant that was in there at the time.

A cheap engine flush is to use white vingar. Drain your old fluid out flush with water till clear then drain out enough to add a gal of white vinger. Worm up the motor then let it set a little then flush with clear water then fill as normal. hasn't hurt anything in my other vehicles havn't done the dodge yet.

an interesting new development.
well, actually my brain turned on.

when oil is at least 1qt low, and I have to hard brake and stop, oil pressure gauge goes to zero, and check gauges turns on.

when oil level is full and I floor it and run up to like 40 50 mph. oil pressure drops from 60ish, to 35ish. then goes back up after I let off it.

which means that there is a major vacuum in the oil.
so I tried adding oil while it was running. it sucked the damn bottle up to the neck into the valve cover. and then deflated the bottle, like I was squeezing it.

so I think I have a very serious plenum leak.

as for the injector leak, it looks like antifreeze, cylinder 5 (2 from firewall, passenger side)
very very slow leak, like barely wet. mainly stain.

have a peek down the throttle body and look for your quart of oil. sounds like it is serously blown.
