They- DC- don't have to remove your pcm to flash it. When I said maybe they flashed your pcm, I meant in a good way. On a 2001, they probably put the death flash on it at the factory. Here is a pic of my Superchipped pcm. It has the factory death flash sticker on it.

Sad thing is, I think I have that exact sticker on it =( I have got to check but I saw a sticker on top of another sticker and didnt pay attention
