Sounds like your cat is clogged. Have someone run the engine and rev it a little while you put your hand by the exhaust outlet. If there is little out pressure and you hear a hissing sound - the cat is bad. Go get a Magnaflow if you can or just a new cat. You can also find someone with a temperature gun to take readings of the exhaust before the cat and after the cat. If the temp is higher before the cat it is bad....

Also - there is a "sticky" thread at the top of the page on this subject.....go to it and read up on the subject. Forum search for " cats " there is a ton of stuff on the subject

If you have heard a rattling sound coming from under the truck recently that is another sign of a bad cat.

Sounds like a dying cat to me

Legal way to fix- Buy a highflow cat or another cat...

Illegal (easier) way - get an O2 sim and take the cat off, and gut it... then hang it back up

Just my 2 cents =)
