well here go my next insane mods. tell me what you all think
1. 408 stroker putting out 345 rear wheel hp and 436 ftp of torque.
2. possible procharger for the 408.
3. on board air with 5 or ten gallon tank with air horns and hook the front locker to it.
well what you think. i just hope the trans and rear will hold up to that kind of power. and so much for gas milage

The rear should hold up, however I would suggest getting a new trans. The stock trans will and should hold for a little while, but whats more embarrassing than punching it one day and blowing the trans apart to pieces. Get a bullet proof trans from APS, their nice =) I dont have one but from the testimonials i've read they should be able to hold around 1000 HP or so...
Oh yeah, upgrade the U-joints to a solid, non greaseable type, the greaseable have a hollow center, whereas the solid ones are well... solid..

so the air lockers compresser is quite tiny i take it? it would kick *** to run onboard air big enough to fill tires... that would be quite tactical!

Now that I think about it, I don't think the ARB comes with a compressor. Maybe it isn't hooked up to anything. Guess we'll have to wait to find out for sure. I know you can get an inflation "kit" for the ARB comressor though. You can also get an inflatable jack...which can also be inflated with exhaust gas [8D]
