Hi All, I ve been looking at programmers for my 2001 2500 and have one more question about them. On my left front fender under the hood there is a tag says "pcm update TSB 180602" dated 9/15/2002...my qeustion is, should I be getting a 2001 or 2002 programmer? I tried to search the TSBs but cant find that one in the 2001 category. Or was this update the infamous Death Flash? Thanks , Dave

You'd want a 2001 programmer if your truck is a 2001 model.

Don't know where you are going to go "pick one up" at.....but just to give you a hint - Hypertech and Superchips programmers are around $285 on the truckaddons.com site. The local speed shop wanted $400 for my Hypertech, so I saved $115 by buying online.......
