ProNet question...NOT about mpg...
Just wanted to point that out...I got a ProNet to replace my tailgate, at least for the time being...bought the truck used, and the tailgate has seen better days...no lectures on how it doesn't help mpg, I've searched on it already :P.
However, I can't find any pics of any installed on a Ram. I'm feeling quite stoopid trying to figure out the placement of the hardware, the directions are generic, "find the best place to mount the hardware"...don't feel like drilling more than 4 holes or having it look weird putting them in the "best" place. The tailgate will be put on as needed when getting mulch and whatnot. If anyone has some pics of it on a 2nd gen, that'd be wonderful. Then I won't have to pay the $30 to get it installed. i had one on a chevy a couple years ago. dont have pictures, but i used the top tailgaite latch pieces and mounted the bottom with the hardware. only thing was friends following me off-road said the bed sides flexed ALOT, even looked like something was broken. tailgate kinda holds the bed together, i guess.
