I have heard alot of people talk about high flow cats, but can someone actually post a link to where I can get prices or info on them. I looked at magnaflow and flowmaster sites and am not sure what to look for. Can anyone help?

I searched for "catco high flow catyalitic converter" and found alot. Catco is the same company as Magnaflow. To make thigns easier I would just go to your local exhaust shop and ask.

EMRJPV what year is your truck? i got an 01 and orderd a 99 direct fit cat b/c for the 99's and lower they come with the downpipes... the 00 and 01's dont... atleast what i have looked up for...it fit great and had no problems.. it was easier b/c the 00 and 01's are JUST the cat and you have to cut out the old one and weld it on... the direct fit for the 99's and lower are the downpipes that just bolt on the headers/exhaust mani's and then you only have to weld up one fitting from the down pipe to the cat and then just weld the pipe on the other end... fit great and had no problems

the summit one is what i got on my truck right now and i love it... i originally went through this jackass on ebay .. the performance peddler ,,, his name is jeff hawkins and that ******* jacked my money and never sent my cat ..put off my exhaust project by a month b/c of his ***... if i ever meet him in person im gonna own him ... ... ... sorry i get disturbed when i bring up that deal lol

Do high flow cats add HP? Do they give a better throttle response?

mildly on both accounts, but nothing you'd feel on a stock truck. the real benefit comes when you make other mods to the motor, and the high flow cat allows it to breathe better.

Ok....cause right now my accelleration is a little sluggish and in another thread I posted it has a little peck, tick, ping, or whatever that is intermittent from under the hood...caused by a clogged cat?
