Yeah with the reff's like this they can. WTF. I mean even the commentators are saying crap about how the reff's aren't calling 1/2 the crap they should on Edmonton but EVERY little thing on Detroit, even though Edmonton has had a few more penalties.

Things are heating up tember wise...there are some pissed up boys out there thats for sure. I smell trouble becuase of that. I hope my boys can control themselfs even though the reffs are out to get them...

Oh well....Wings are holding off since its end of the 2nd and its 2-2. We just killed your TWO 5 on 3 chances, so SUCK ON SOME OF DEM!

Agreed... sharks are strong right now, picked up right where they left off at the end of the season. The preds scored their 1st even strength goal last night... that's not good, 4 games and 1 even strength goal...

What happend to Dallas? they could be swept tonight...

 

Just looked at the schedule... Sharks & Preds are the only team with 2 days off, while the Rangers & Devils are the only team with a back to back schedule on Sat/Sun this weekend. Every other team has 1 day off between games.

We (guys @ work) were talking about the basketball playoff schedule and commenting on the fact that they get 2~3 days between games. I agree that basketball is a demanding sport, but 2~3 days off? that's BS. should be like hockey and every other day.

I think the playoffs are the time for the teams to step up or step aside, the 2~3 days off thing in b-ball is stupid.

 

There's a reason why the games are spread out that way.....its called....MONEY!!!! Lets face facts.....Hockey doesnt bring in the kind of money that the NBA does.....nowhere near that kind of cash....so its all about primetime and such. I agree that it is the playoffs and they need to step it up....but the fact is its all about money...nothing more. Also, the NBA teams are sometimes playing back to back game nights and most are only getting 1 day off.....its easier on the NBA, but its not as bad as you make it out to be...

 

well, i'm glad hockey is on the way it is... watching all of the games we get to see is so much fun.
