reverse lights
ok i just thought it would be kind cool too hook the bed lights next to the 3rd break light up to turn on when put in reverse because i really never use them anyway what do you think i would need just a relay i havent ever seen that done so i thought it would be something cool to try out but i still would want it to function normally any input on the idea
you talkin about the cargo light thats built into the 3rd brake light coming on automatically when you put it in reverse? sounds like a great idea... all the wiring will be done (should be done) in the dash.. find the hot wires for the R and then find the hot wires for the cargo (off the light switch where you can manually turn them on)
relay would be the best bet...that way you dont run the risk of burning up the little switch that kicks on the R lights. if you have a hard time finding the hot wires remember alot of circuits sometimes are ground switched.. meaning they are always hot and a ground is added to complete the circuit...
some time well spent with a DMM will do you right!!!!
write up defentatly!
30/40 style boshe relay will be the best!

could be wrong, but I think they might be negative activated.
