Default aftermarket coolant temp gauge?

i searched and found nothing except trans temp gauges, so here it is. still not having any luck with the stock gauge, and now i probably wont trust it if it did work again. has anyone installed an aftermarket one? i dont need anything fancy, just something accurate. if so, were/ how did you tie it in to the cooling system?

Water temp gauge

I'd go with an electrical one. Slightly less accurate than a mechanical, but there's no unecessessary running of hot fluids into the engine bay.
