Default Heads from mopartsracing.com

I decided to buy bare R/T heads from this place. Has anyone else done so, and if so, where did you get rocker arms, valves, and everything else. From what I am reading, they rocker assys they sell are for the aluminum heads. I am not building for performance, but for towing. These heads are going on my 5.2L.

from what it sounds like, you might want to consider the heavy duty heads, Hughes Engines sells them built up with stock parts and they outflow the r/t's. plus, they are cheeper (at least when compared to assembled heads).

I bought my r/t's from them, they arrived pretty quickly but the packaging was kinda weak. could have been packaged better for shipping.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not afraid to build up my own heads.

What's the difference between R/T heads and "heavy duty" heads?

have a look. bare castings are $276 each. They give some performance #'s on them vs stock & the r/t's.
