TIRE TIME!!!!!! Need some Input!
The guy that sold me my tires said exactially "If you drive into a mud pit and shread a tire just try to find some peices and its free"
So yes totally does include Off Road!!
Timberline MTs are cool looking, but my Timberline ATs wear really fast so I figured the MTs would wear even faster. Discovery STT's are sweet looking too, I really wanted to get those.
As for the ProComp MTs they're pretty cool. My bud has 32x11.5's on his XJ and they wook pretty good. Gumbo like mud and they got caked though, but if you keep them spinning I bet they rock.

These look good... https://dodgeforum.com/m_458888/tm.htm
The Mickeys I have do good and have around 35000 on them.
I usually like to look at the cross section width. The fatness of the tire. The dunlops, ProComps, are good on this. Most of the BFG's I've seen are narrow for their size. Then again with 8" wheels and 12.5s that shouldn't be a problem. The tire pictured on this thread looks good too.
Nice wheels.[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Mud rovers run real true to the tread width but are way short as far as height goes. they measure 34.2 or something real close to it. the 16" rim sizes seem to get a little better tread life but Mine were replaced in a year with only one wheeling trip on them.
I've got the BFG a/t's on mine and so far have been happy with them. only got about 2500 miles on them so far. Pulled camper last week end (25ft) and they did much better than the cooper discovery a/t that was on it before. I got mine a sears. They had a tire sale going and that was the cheapest place I found. $770.00 out the door.
I had a little chance to test my tires in really deep sand last night. Lets just say it wasn't good lol
I have my front drive shaft out cause I did the u-joints, anyways we were in the woods and I was driving through a field type thing and there was some sand in front of me. I didn't think anything of it thinking it was just surface sand. Got into the middle with my 2wd and wouldn't go faward. So after backing up and going foward a bunch I burried myself. Diff was in the sand like 4 inches, bumper was almost on the ground. It was sweet. Few phone calls at 1am and my buddy had to come get me. But he had to take his moms Ford Exploder since it Jeep doesn't have enough ***** to get me out of anything. I HAD TO GET PULLED OUT BY A FORD EXPLODER
But I made it [:'(]
Any aggresive tires pretty much suck in sand though, they just bite/scoop to much and dig down. IMO my Yokohamas are more aggresive then BFG A/T's.
