MALF INJ #9 on V-10
Hey, tossed in a couple injectors on my truck today, had one dead one and one other one that hasnt been replaced, and after its all said and done, Im getting the Check Engine light.
So toss in the scanner, pops up with MALF INJ #9 code, I think it was P0209.
Any hints as to what I should hit with a hammer first?
I cleared the memory and it went away for about 50 KMs, and now the light is back on and is running like it was.

swap injector #9 with a known good, or brand new one. clear the codes and run it. if it follows that injector is bad, if it stays the wiring or other problems could be causing it

That's the first thing I'd try!
When your done swapping injectors, and still having a problem. Try thoroughly cleaning all your ground connections on your engine. I posted a similar problem with my 5.9. Check out my post "Stalling problem" for some ideas.....Checkout www.alldata.com for wire testing info, pinout data, etc for a subscription fee.. Its worth it...Good luck.
