Oh yeah its like 1200 bucks for a front bumper. I want my truck as functional as I can get it. I like the fact the winch is hidden under the bumper. I contacted them and they told me some times you need to add the 2 inch spacer in there to stop the nose droop - the thing is heavyer than stock. So it would seems Ill need some new springs. When I buy this Ill just put this on before i think about the lift.

maybe its just me but I think the brush guards look cheesy and gay. They arent very beefy either. I would just rather spend $220 on something more beneficial like steel to build your own front bumper with a guard on it.

to me its just as bad as putting any Lund plastic attachment on the truck.

i think they look ok, on an actual truck used offroad (if you saw how much mud is under my ram in my driveway right now, you will agree mine is well used).

the main thing i am looking for is mild front end protection from trees and and branches (i have a broken corner lens from a stray branch) and a good place to mount some big lights. i would love a heavy duty bumper and winch, but no money for that right now.

hey hansonHVAC, i am probably gonna add a 3" body lift very soon too, do the brackets that come with that brushguard have provisions or enough material to drill new holes so it will mount up 3" higher? guess i'll find out either way, but i'd like to order the lift in the next day or so

Trail readys and rod armor bumper look nice, very over priced but nice. But I think they are unproportional to the truck unless you have 38 or larger tires.

there are no brackets it mounts to your bumper so whereever your bumper is, thats where your brushguard is going to be
