Default clicking noise

when I drive slowly in my 98 dodge ram it starts making this weird clicking noise that sounds like it's coming from the driver rear side of the axle. I have no idea what it could be... it could be coming from anywhere in the back though. Only happens when I drive slow though and continues when the brakes are applied. The axle is a chrysler 9.25 if that helps anyone. It almost sounds like when you have a milk jug full of water and tip it completely upside down and let it glug out. I was thinking perhaps it could be the center carrier bearing but i'm not sure. Have any of you guys had this problem?

Thanks for any help at all

It's probably the U-Joint. Mine just went and i could hear it when going slowly. I got it fixed and no more awful sound. I found the problem because i could hear it echo off of cars and buildings, so i jacked up my truck and spun the tire with my hands and sure enough i could hear it and pinpoint exactly when it would click. try doing that.

IF YOUR TRUCK IS A 4X4, IT'S COMING FROM ONE OF THE FRONT AXLE U JOINTS.JACK UP THE FRONT END AND REMOVE THE FRONT TIRES AND LOOK AT THE U JOINTS. SOUND LIKE THERE WASTED.

The noise is coming from the rear of the truck he would be wasting his time pulling the front tires off.

I'll jack it up tomorrow and spin the rear tires and see if i can hear if it's the ujoint on the rear drive shaft. I was either thinking it was that or the center carrier bearing. I'll just pull the ujoint out though and replace it because those things arent expensive anyways. thanks for all the help guys! anymore input?

well i jacked it up today and spun the wheels in the rear and the sound is coming from the drums or the ends of the axles.
