(I searched, I swear)

I am having trouble finding out what this black attachment to the door speaker is. It has 10 colored wires comming out of it, and it is attached the the 6x9 in the door. Its on the origional chrysler/infinity speaker. I am kinda stuck untill I know if its important or not.

on a side note, does the stock infinity head unit have a plug in the back to wire an amp?

Hmmm I forgot the name but I know what your talking about. My Boss amp has a special connection for those plugs. I'm pretty sure on these it just has to do with the Infinity system and the build in Amp. Look in the FSM in the "merry christmas" thread and maybe that wiring diagram will explain.

 

I cant get any pictures, but it looks like its a tiny amp for that speaker, there is one on each door.

 

Do you have tweeters in the a-pillars?

 

Ah HA! They are 30watt amps. Thanks for the help, it took a few times but downloading that maual is a god send.
