Default trying to get another 3" of lift, will these work?

tryin to put the truck a little higher in the air. i found a couple things on ebay and i was wondering if the combo with what i have now will be ok. here's what i got now: 3" top gun customz lift, which is simply 1.5" blocks in the back, and 3" coil spacers in the front. it also came with longer shocks for the front.

here is what i was looking at on ebay.

will these work on my truck w/o any other mods? will i need longer shocks in the back, or even longer ones up front? new control arms?

hopefully this will work, and i'll be at about 5" to 6"
also plan on throwing on a 3" body lift soon

any thoughts? and yes i know i'm going the cheap route, but.. oh well

I can't comment on the lift stuff (not into that kind of thing), but I know you're going to need to do something with your control arms.

Yeah thats true, you are gonna need longer control arms if you go another 3"

But that seems to me it would work just fine. Only thing I thinkis sketchy about the coils is that it says it will work for a 2500 too. Wiend since 2500 springs are already longer then 1500 and they're stiffer. So how would a 2500 get the same amount of lift? Kinda funny!

Wrong. the 2500 are not longer or stiffer unless they are for a V10 or a CTD. Remember the 5.9 was put in them.

Rad. that set up would work but you'll need longer shocks for the rear and front, new control arms (which I have)
I can solve your front shock problem with a shock tower eliminator (which I also have)

I am not familiar with the company so I can say they are good or not, But I think someone on PS was selling 5" SJ coils for less than that.

How come the front of 2500's with 5.9L sit as high as my truck with a 3" lift and 285/75 tires then?

there where a couple of different suspension options. but it didnt have anything to do with the actual springs. It was the difference in perches. You can actually see the numbers on the trucks spec tag.
Ive seen 2500 able to clear 35s stock and Ive seen some that couldnt clear 285s.

I'll do a search on PS to find what the option code numbers are.

Seems wierd, but I guess it could make sence. My boss has a '98 2500 with D60's and the 5.9L. Like I said his truck is about the same height as mine now. He has the crappy 265's on there and they look TINY, theres tons of room in his wheel wells.

Wierd that they made so many diferent options for that crap, but I could see it happening.

socha- i don't know if it applies for that year, but remember that they also had light-duty 2500's around that time, which featured D44's w/ 8 lug hubs. the D60's might have had higher or different spring perches.

and god ram it, what kind of control arms and shock tower elims do you have? what kinda price you looking to get for em? thanks
