Default add a leaf question

Alright so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if some add-a-leafs from a 1989 F250 would work for my 01 dodge. I bought these for a Ford that I was going to fix up then decided that why should I fix up a piece o sh#$ and went out and bought me another dodge. My theory is that how different could leaf springs be so I thought I would give it a shot. I have not measured my dodge springs to see if the width would line up but i figured I would ask to see if anyone would know.

1500 rear springs are 2.5" and 2500 & 3500 springs are 3"

If they're the same width I'd give it a shot, why not!

Unless you have a Light duty 2500, than they have a 2.5" springs

it may work. I know the same AAL fits alot of makes and models for many different years.

well im gonna give it a shot one of these days. The problem is the leafs are in dallas and im in norman oklahoma. I sold them to this guy and shipped them to my brother and then he decided he didnt want them. So whenever i get those things back up here i will give it a shot after I get the new front coils. So if i get three inch lift springs for the front will i need to get anything else? I know that will max out my shocks but those will get changed either then or shortly after.
