I'd never put them on any of my vehicles....especially my truck. Just too many bad things that can happen...not just to you, but to others on the road...if/when they fail.

I also don't like how it moves the wheel out farther towards the end of the wheel stud [:'(]

Yes they use them on some rock crawlers, but they also don't cruise down the road with them.

My opinion...be safe...spend the extra $$$ and get a set of rims that fit correctly.

On top of what Rom said, you will also be adding extra stress on the hubs and wheel bearings. Often seen when fellas put aftermarket rims on their trucks with excessive backspacing, like 2". Thats when you notice half the tire is sticking out past the truck. This will put the compressed weight of the truck on the rim farther out away from the "center" of the hub and bearings, and will wear prematurley. Just ask radwebster, he just changed hubs and bearings on his ram, its not fun. From Napa, runing 250 a peice, you might want to look into aftermarket rims, and a lift to fit bigger tires, in the long run, it will be cheeper.

plus the can come loose inside and you wont even know it until your tires is wobbleing so bad its ready to fall off. for a trail only truck sure but not for a street driven truck. also they are illegal in many states.

Everyone has pretty much hit the nail on the head! Stay away from those things, way too dangerous for you and everyone else sharing the road with you.

those are probably only good for car shows or temporary use like that.

Plus you don't want your wheels sticking out too much, you don't want to look like some of those rice burners that look like flat turtles
