Default Alternator Service

Was wondering if anyone has any tips to service or clean up my alternator or if anyone knows of any rebuild kits for ours. I have a few noises coming from the engine compartment and im pretty sure one of them is the alternator or something pulley related. It got significantly quiter when I replaced an oem style belt with the gatorback. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Last time a checked into it, our alt's can't be rebuilt. Even an alternator "rebuilder" told me he couldn't do it. I guess the construction of the unit is all pressed together. I first found this out because I wanted to upgrade the amp output and was told it couldn't be done.
