Default desiding on a body lift

well i few weeks ago i thought about doing a body lift but i didnt know how it was going to look with 8 inches of lift and 35's. well i got bored so i jacked my frame up 3inches today to simulate a body lift. I really like it and i dont think it looks bad at all. so what do you guys think. hows it look? once this goes on im going to start my on board air project since i just got a nice tank, ac compressor and the bracket to mount it to the motor yesterday. the body lift is going to give me a nice spot to mount the air tank in between the gas tank and the transfer case.

i am VERY close to putting my 3" PA body lift in. i'm probably gonna get it in tomorrow night with some people. i'll let you know how it goes. , and i'll get some pics for ya. only thing i am worried about are the gaps between the frame and body, because i go through very deep stuff, gonna stall it all over the place now[:@]

i dont think the gaps on our rams are as bad as you think. my friends ram has a 3 inch PA on it and you can hardly tell.

i really like it.

question. other than looks what good is a body lift,. isnt a suspension lift enough or does it help aruond with that as well.
i've been considering and toying with the idea of lifting mine at least 4-6 inches myself, but i dunno yet. cost isnt the issue, its more of practicality.

suspension lifts are always better.. but more expensive.. body lifts dont hurt anything and they keep your ride and travel the same.. just gives you that few extra inches and room.. i love how your truck looks.. im just worried about your exhaust.. after that body lift the exhaust will look 3 inches lower but im sure you already took that into consideration.. im looking into getting a 3 inch body lift on top of my 3 inch suspension.. but i dunno how it'll look with 285's.. i guess i'll have to borrow your idea of jacking up the truck

i think it would look wierd with the front pushbar no?, .. wouldnt i have to raise that as well? and the exhaust, it would look virtually 3" shorter, but thats ok.. i dont think it wuold stand out too much

if I cant do it because of the pushbar, i'll just go for some new tires and probably some rails for the box.

Im hoping the exhaust is still doing to look fine. hopfully i can just bend it closer to the bed. i dont know what im doing with the push bar since its mounted to the frame in like 8 places. ( it was made to hold a winch) so i think thats just going to hang down alittle low until i get my new winch bumper. and then im going to just make brackets for the rear bumper.
