V10 Rams
I get 14mpg highway unloaded when driving mine like a normal person (ie normal acceleration, around the speed limit, no burn-outs). That's with the mopar performance PCM running on premium fuel ONLY from Shell stations. I'm hoping to see that number go up in the future with the addition of a Fastman TB, K&N FIPK, and new tires.
I am averaging between 10-12 50/50 city / Highway.
doing this by filling up the tank and resetting the trip meter, the on board comp tells me 9-10 but the math tells me 10-12 have tried this several times and get those results. though only tried that when gas was cheaper, filling up now 36 gallons is painful
Only mod K&N Drop in Filter.

take a v-10 for a test drive, then take a 360 for a test drive.........

Its worth the money for the V-10. I get better milage with my truck than my 91 chev K2500HD reg cab long box. And have way more power to boot

hey now.. 318's arent THAT bad
i can keep right up with v10's.. with a hypertech programmer, low temp stat and a drop in filter i beat 360's alot.. stock 360's that is.. but i've also heard that 318's have greater compression then 360's.. is that true?

The magnum 318 and 360 have the same compression ratio (9.1:1). The older LA engines had different ratios...with the 360 having a HIGHER ratio...9.1:1 compared to 8.5:1 for the 318.And yes, the 318 is THAT bad
when compared to a V10. [8D] The 318 has good low-end, but chokes on the top-end. The V10...even with it's HORRIBLE intake manifolds...has a very flat (and high) "curve" for both horsepower and torque
And it only gets better with mods [8D]
