MMO update from a honda owner...
marvel mystery oil... I use it in my diesel tank along with another additive that gets me 1.5 mpg better then without. the bottle says you can put it in the crank so I asked my daughter if she'd try it since she was due for an oil change and this is her results... (see post #1).

since i leave for basic training on tuesday i will give it a try just for kicks and if it wrecks my truck i will fix it in augest when i get back
another thing you might want to try is seafoam in the throttle body when your truck is at idle, like the mopar stuff only not a arosal works wounders on the throttle response/hesitation that i used to have.

...her last calculation was .5 mpg better than her average ( 17.74 vs 17~17.2) and that was while driving on 1/2 tank since the oil change. I asked her this morning and she said she wont need to fill up until mon/tue of next week.

the bottle also says you can add it to gas as well... I'm going to add 8 oz to the wifes tank since she just filled up and see what she says on her next fillup. My thought with that was the oil may help lubricate the fuel injectors so they dont stick or prevent them from sticking. not even sure if it's a problem but according to the bottle, it'll help clean up deposits like an injector cleaner would. Since I cant convince her to buy the good gas (she's a Costco gas fan because it's cheep) this may help out.
I'll post back in a few days when she fills up again.
