i'm up to 4 lights, plus couple body lift shots
a few pics from tonight....
i added a body lift a couple nights ago, didn't get a chance to move the bumpers yet, heres a couple pics of the gaps i have at the moment.
also, i added 2 more lights to the brushguard.i still have to paint the steel bar i added as a bracket to mount the lights to, but it looks good so far. i want to thank spike7ss (or similiar) on this forum for the idea to add the bar to mount the lights on.

Looks good with the lights, saved yourself some hassle like that, wonder why they didnt have a bracket like that in the first place

Did your body lift come wiht front bumper brackets at all?

tani-- if you have any questions during install let me know. me and my friends screw around alot, so it took us like 7 hours to get done what we did. it was pretty simple though...here's a quick recap of what i did in order...remember that this is for a regular cab, longbed, the amount of bolts you have will be dfferent with other configurations..
-unbolt the 8 bed bolts
-unbolt the filler neck from the bed
-lift the bed up one side at a time, slide the blocks under the bed mounts and put the new bolts in. do both sides, then tighten them all down.
-cut the fuel filler hose and the vent hose. insert the kit spacers, bolt everything back up
-there are 4 bed support metal pieces (only use two with a short bed) that should be tack welded to the middle bed support beams. they are not held in place by anything, which is why you need to tack weld them in. bed's done!
for the cab...
-take the auto shift linkage off. cut it in half, and weld the 3 inch extension in place
-unbolt the transfer case adjustment bolt if you have a 98 or above (sorry tani, forgot what you have offhand) if you have a 97 or earlier, this is alot more you need to do to transfer case linkage...
-unbolt fan shroud, remove radiator overflow tube
-unbolt steering shaft from the steering box
-undo the cab mount bolts, lift one side at a time. have people keep an eye on everything under the hood to make sure no ther lines/hoses/wires get too tight.
-put the blocks under the body, use the new bolts. do the other side, tighten everything up. there are 6 blocks for the regular cab
- install the fan shroud lowering brackets
-put the longer overflow tank line in
-put the longer auto tranks shift linkage back in, readjust it.
-readjust the transfer case
-put the steering shaft extension in. you may have to unbolt the steering box and lower it to get the extension to fit, then bolt it back up. cab's done!
can't give any advice on the bumpers yet, i'll let youknow when they're done
and the body lift kit did come with front bumper relocation brackets, the rear bumper has to have new holes drilled to relocate it though.

Just finished my body lift. Got mine off ebay and it included rear brackets and new body bushings. Install was easy as pie. Needed to weld the spacers into the transmission shift and transfer case shift. All in all an easy job. Definately made a big difference in ride height.
Looks good! You gonna raise the front bumper?

thats good to know, thanks for writing all that. i have an NV3500 so no trans linkage but i think im going to have to make a little shifter extender so its not 3 inches lower.
you wont be able to notice it Tani. Anyone I know that did a bL with a standard just left the shifter where it was. Its not too bad.
as far as the rear bumper brackets go. The ones that you can buy seperate for the kit are worthless. They arent that beefy and if the welded on studs are torqued too much they will spin off. I made the mistake of getting them. I want my money back
