Hmm...i'm torn. While i hate lowered trucks, I can't get over what a great job you did at making it look good. My vinyl on the B post is coming off in chips, I may redo it.....and thinking about doin the A post. Quick question though.....did you precut the vinyl or did you cut it on the truck?

I cut it on the truck. But I took a piece of masking tape and put that on the truck where I wanted to cut it, then just pulled that out from under the vinyl. Just make sure that you cut it just a little bigger than you untimatley want to have it. The vinyl shop that I bought mine from told me that it will shrink just a little in the heat.
yeah...i used to be a graphics "installer" at a custom auto shop. I was always too edgy about cutting vinyl on a car...lol, espcially mine! I'll see if I can dig up the ole razor ...but instead of masking tape, I may try something a little thicker, my hand isnt as steady as it used to be.
I have a quad cab so I have an A, B and C post....my B post came factory with the strip but like i said, its chipping. If i completely put new vinyl over it, you'll still be able to see the lines where the old chipped off. any ideas on how to get the old one off and take the goo with it?

Actually I cut the pipe off just after the axle. I never have liked pipes out the back or sides. I think that it makes it even cleaner looking without it.

No they were the carbon fiber look and after a while I could not stand them any more and painted them. I was really amazed at how well the paint matched up with the truck being as old as it is. I have really been debating doing the night shades on the tails lights now. Just not sure how that will look and really dont want to do it and then end up not liking it.
LOOKS GREAT, THE A- PILAR THAT IS.
IF YOU LIKE IT, WHY NOT MAKE IT PERMANENT?
I SAW THAT SOMEONE ELSE RECOMMENDED GOING ALL BLACK (ABOVE THE BED AND HOOD).
THOUGHT ABOUT DOING THAT MYSELF. THEN IT WOULD BE 2 TONE WHITE AND BLACK, INSTEAD OF WHITE WITH BLACK WINDOWS.
DID YOU PAINT YOUR DOOR HANDLES YOURSELF OR BUY REPLACEMENTS (COLOR MATCHED)?
I ALREADY DID MY TAILGATE HANDLE, BUT AM HESITANT ON REMOVING MY FRONT HANDLES.
THANKS
