I had someone suggest to black out the a-pillar (on the outside). Since vinyl is fairly cheap I thought what the heck I would give it a shot and see what it looks like.

What do you all think? Should it stay or should it go?

Those mirrors are a lot better for a truck IMHO, as long as you don't do any towing. They don't cause as much wind noise. They also don't tend to vibrate like the huge stock ones. [8D]

 

Thanks guys, I do need to redo the drivers side due to a few bubbles. It was so freaking hot the day that I did that side that it stuck way too fast.

I really like the smaller mirrors and since I do abolutely no towing (roll pan and no hitch) I dont really need the big ol suckers. Of course I am going for more of the sport truck look.

 

looks good, what size rims do you have and how much of a drop is it?

 

20" wheels and 305/50/20 tire. The drop is a 2/4 right now, planning on going lower but can't with that big fat tire that I have on it now.

 

I like it and I like the drop too. I would like to do a 2/4 drop for mine but no cash to do it. At the very least I will do the drop shackles to level it out.

 

The blackout looks OK, but I really like the wheels and the drop.

 

yeah i like the painted a pillars better, but ever think of doing the roof and the back? black out the entire top half above the bedline.

yeah i'm digging that drop and those rims. man they look hot on there. nice classic five spoke look but with modern technology feel to it.

beats stock anyday.
