Can someone please link me to a place to buy a cat? And any recommendations would be great too?

Get it replaced for free https://dodgeforum.com/m_352822/tm.htm

Otherwise, www.summitracing.com should have converters.

Are there any other places to look ? How much would I pay for going to an exhaust shop? What exactly are people meaning when they say high flow cat?

There are plenty of places to look. I'm sure you live within a reasonable distance from an exhaust shop, call them, it would be your best bet. I saw one in a catalog this morning for as low as $60. If you buy one and then take it to an exhaust shop, they may charge you more for labor than if you would have just bought it from them.

A high flow cat (catalytic convertor) allows more air to flow through the exhaust system, reducing backpressure and sometimes giving your truck more power.

Ohhh, okay. Go to www.google.com and type in high flow catalytic convertor and some results should pop up. Just beware of buying online, as there is always the chance of a bad sale. My last online purchase went very smooth and friendly, actually it was when I bought my Hypertech off of a guy named Ed from here....real great guy.

But anyways, back on topic...if you do a little googling you can find out which ones are high flow and which ones aren't, normally its in the product description. Good luck and happy hunting.

To save you googling this time, try these:
