Is the PCM the silver box on the firewall, (passenger side), thanks.

Shouldn't have a bunch of different plugs going to it, but there should be a whole bunch of wires running into 1 (or 2) plugs which are held on by a single bolt.

Or 3 32 PIN plugs held in with no bolts.

yea thats what I mean, it has lots of wires into big plugs that are in it. So thats the thing that would have that "deathflash" sticker on it?

Since you have a 98, it probably does not have the factory sticker. If you have the death flash, the tsb # will more than likely be handwritten on a generic sticker and could be anywhere around the engine bay.
