Default 1/2 to 3/4 ton question

I just put a custom steel bumper\grill guard and a 12000 pound ramsey winch. My 1/2 ton springs arnt doing the job anymore. Has anyone tried to put 3/4 ton coils on a a 1/2 ton. It looks like it should fit right in and add about 3 " of lift. The look like the same diamiter over all. Just a thicker spring. What do you all think. or is there something else i can do. Thanks

Several people have done that. I don't think you'll see 3" of lift though unless you go with the Diesel/V10 springs. The ride will definitely be harsher.

with the 2500 springs you would normally get around 1-1/2 to 2 inches of lift but with the bumper and winch it should put you right around stock height.
