Default K&N CAI or TOP MOUNT ELEMENT?

I have the K&N FIPK and I was wondering if the hot rod style open element would be more power. Or maybe a K&N Xtreme Filter lid. Any help here, thanks.

Default RE: K&N CAI or TOP MOUNT ELEMENT?

go with something other than the FIPK.

i have one, and recently discoverd that the inlet tube is keeping me from reaching WOT.

i found this out when i adjusted my TPS voltage, then checked the reading at WOT.

put my FIPK back on, and realized it was hitting it, and never reaching the desired WOT voltage.

anyone else noticed this, or fixed this problem?

thanks
