Goodbye Dodge Ram!!!
Well you read it... a 16 yr old boy just lookn for a more fuel effiecient car!!! I love my dodge ram but it has to go... Im trading it in for $5,500 and buying a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with a 3.8L Supercharged Engine... 28 mpg (highway)... yeah it kinda seems i get 10 mpg in my dodge... Well its not gone yet but within the month it will be... I had good times!!!
You do realize that you'll be REQUIRED to run unleaded premium fuel (regular and mid WON'T work) in that Grand Prix...right? And that the L67 (Supercharged 3.8) only sees 28mpg if you drive it with a VERY "light" foot
Just making sure you know that before you end up with another vehicle you can't afford to put gas in.
A GT model (non-supercharged) might be a better choice fuel wise. Insurance would be much cheaper on it as well.

Burning Rom is right. You're just going from one level of hell to another. If you want to SAVE money, drive what I drive -- a post 2000 Cavalier. I may be over 35, but that thing gets great mileage, is easy to work on, is dependable (standard trans), and is cheap to insure. Things you need to consider when you're 16.

Our 01 Intrepid was a previous rental car from Florida. And other than a couple of paint issues, it's been mechanically sound. It had 18k on when we bought it in 2002. It's sitting at 49k right now.
