Default 1994 2500 5.9l 360 trouble

My 94 ram has recently lost most of its power. It seems to be running on 4 cycl. It has compression in all eight yet no power. I since have changed numerous sensors and still nothing. I finally changed out the ecm and still no luck . Can anybody lead me in the right direction as this problem is getting very expensive to figure out. thanks

Are you going oil more often than usual? If so, it could be the plenum gasket from what I hear.

first off check that you have spark out of all eight wires, before you do that pull the fuel pump fuse, no reason to be pushing gas in to a non running engine.....if all eight don't have spark check the cap and rotor and possible the distrbuter. if all eight have spark i would check fire the motor up and find out which cylinders are dead to see if the injector on a certain bank or stage are not working.... if that seemed ok then i would check the intake gaskets and head gaskets with a pressure test....

Your cat. converter may have failed and is restricting your exhaust. Mine started to rattle at 75k miles.

all good suggestions. i am also leaning towards your ignition. do the simple, easy tests before you spend money on new parts.
once you isolate where the problem is coming from, you will usually be down to only a couple possibilities.
