sway bars
I actually have a post out on another forum trying to find someone who has used one of these Hellwig rear sway bars. I am wanting to know some specifics of how they attach because I'm looking to have a rear sway on while in town (to reduce body roll) and when I tow, but the option to remove it when I want to hit the trail. I don't necessarily need a quick release, but something that can be removed in under 5 or 10 minutes would work fine for me. So, if anyone here is using one of these, let me know if that would be possible with one of these Hellwig peices.
Sway bar thoughts:
1. It is really amazing (to me at least) how the Edelbrock IAS monotube shocks work so effectively that handling with and without the front sway bar installed is almost unaffected
2. the releaseable sway bar for off road, and tuneable on the fly sway bar designs showing up on vehicles have many advantages
3. A properly set up vehicle chassis only needs at most one sway bar, either on the front or back. Race vehicles have front and back sway bars only because the pit crew knows it usually does not have the time to get the chassis exactly right for that course. Suspension experts brag to one another about having tires, shocks, springs, roll centers and such so perfectly tuned that no sway bar is needed. Sway bars are the 'bandaids' of suspension design.

The "Roadmaster" top of spring control coil add-on below has gotten good
reviews so far from Ram and Dakota owners who have tried them:

Velvet ride shackles have gotten mixed reviews on Rams. I haven't read a
single positive review of Velvet Rides on 1500 series Rams, but some 2500/3500
Ram owners have written that they 'help a little bit when unloaded.'
