Default some damage

I had a ditch incident a few weeks ago and basically both drivers were wrong. Anyways details aside nobody was hurt and the only damage was to my Ram. The bumper is pushed in on the driver side and I'm wondering if I should get a new one or re-adjust this one? I hit the ditch pretty quick but it was 2ft of mud that cushioned the impact. Also need a new corner light and air dam but I'll probably just take all that plastic off.

you're going to need a new lower gray plastic part because it looks to me like you snapped some of the plastic plugs that hold it on. if you didn't damage/bend the crome part then you can just readjust it. if you need to understand how send me a message.. just did it a few months ago. i had to replace the whole damn thing! got pictures too and some are in the gallery i think. you can get a new lower air dam pretty cheap from a junk yard. you might need to get a few screws to replace it though

i did not put mine back on and it doesn't seem to have made a difference. so i'm leaving mine off until i get one with lights in it. hmm i should just modify the one i have.. hmm theres an idear.

swap out the corner lights for some clears. they look badass.

When I bought my 01 both the front and the rear bumper were out of alignment from where previous owner had pulled, or been pulled, using the bumper. I sprayed all the bolts with PB Blaster penetrating oil, used a 1/2" drive i think 18mm and a piece of pipe for more power and loosened up all the bolts. I was able to realign them easy as pie. The black plastic cover on top has some little clips you can push out from underneath. A couple of mine were sort of half broken and I JB-Welded them back together and was able to reuse them. If that fails you can use some silicon in a caulk tube to glue it on. On the gray plastic, I think it had some captured nut things, and I was able to reuse most, and put some new small bolts on some others. As long as your chrome bumper, and the braces, aren't bent, or bent too bad, you should be able to reuse it. Try it. JB Weld can work wonders.

Took the plastic off today. Bent support on the driver's side. I'm gunna take it apart and hammer it straight this week.

so you know once you hammer that straight again it will take less force to bend it back again in case of an accident. it will be more prone to failure again. they are pretty cheap parts you can pick them up for like $15 from www.chryslerdirect.com.
