CB radio mounting locations?
I searched and only found one way I liked. The guy with a custom box he built.
I just want to mount mine somewhere simple, but it's a large radio.
I have a Ranger RCI-6900F150, If anyone has some pics of their radios mounted to give me some ideas would be great. I was thinking about mounting it to the dash but I don't want to put ugly holes in the plastic. Might still do it, I do have a tranny hump mount and looks ok.
Also, where is the best location to run the coax?

magnum...what dash style is your truck? is it like the pic above? or is it a '98 or newer truck? I have a 2001 and my cobra 29 is mounted just under the pull-down ash tray.

I have a two-way emergency frequency radio mounted in my truck that I use for the fire dept...it's actually to the left of the one in that picture, just over the gas pedal, i didnt have to drill any holes at all, there are two factory screws there....and theres plenty of room for my foot to press the gas pedal. look under your dash right above the gas pedal and you'll see the screws, just customize your bracket to mount there.
