Can a guy get diamond-plated accessories with a black finish?
Hey give these people a try. its hard to tell but they have black paitable grill shells. I am looking at an add in Truckin" magazine and they have any kinda grill and shell you want. Buy seperate or together. It might at least save you a little work.

DeeZee has the black bed caps in diamond plate.
As far as the rocker panels...I have never seen 'em in black....Powder coating wont work on them either because the baking process will ruin the adhesive.

the front grille, is impossible to find black though, im thinking buying a chrome one and stripping it then painting it black.
i checked out pricing up here for a black paintjob, keeping my stripes. and it would be about 4500-5k... thats also leaving the rockers alone.

I just painted my rockers from the bumper height down with black bed liner paint. Did it myself for about $30. Looks pretty good.

I'm going for the same look with my truck. My truck is bright white with the clear coat. I have a black bug shield, bed rails, toolbox, window visors, and dark dark black window tint. I just bought the bed rails and box with the regular finish. Then went to the store and got a couple spray cans of black rustoleum. Looks great.
It's nice to see there are others out there doing black accessories. In my town it's chrome, chrome, chrome and more chrome. I think people were questioning my sanity when i said I was going black but it's coming together pretty nice.
