Does anybody know how big of a tire you can go with put under the vehicle where the spare goes?

 

fullsize stock. not a whole lot of extra room under there.

 

I have a 275/70/17 spare under mine, seems to fit ok, kinda tight, but there is still a little room. I think a 285 might fit with some persuasion, but I doubt anything bigger then that.

 

I know what doesn't--35's. [on my truck anyway]

 

I still have a stock 245 under mine. Looks like it's never been used [&:]...still has the green/red stripes on it...and all the little rubber ***** left over from manufacturing.

I could see a 275 fitting under there. Not much bigger though. It's kinda tight under there.

 

my friend had a 33 under there but it was tight as hell. idk my tires in my bed
