Default new truck :)

hello, just bought a 2001 dodge ram 1500 club cab 4x4 with the full size bed. so far pretty happy. it has the 5.9L and i'm getting 12.6mpg. it has a couple cool options the dana 44 front axle and the corp. rear axle. it's my 2nd dodge truck. my first was a 77 dodge with the 318. got a ? though. i took it to a muffler shop and what i want is a muffler that gives the truck a deeper tone, a little louder but not loud enough to where you hear it loudly on the inside. they recommended a magnaflow 18inch. said that would work great on my truck? does that sound good?

so far i had a python alarm put in.

thanks.

flowmaster, magnaflow, dynomax, borla (if they are still in business i heard they might be shutting down. too much competition with flowmaster and magnaflow), are all good muffler companies. they all make different kinds that would suit your needs.

LOOKS GOOD...AND CONGRATS ON THE NEW MACHINE.....I HAVE THE ORIGINAL 40 SERIES ON MY TRUCK, I ALSO HAVE AN AFTERMARKET CONVERTER....I FIND THE TWO COMBINED THAT THE TRUCK IS TOO LOUD AROUND TOWN AND THAT IT IS MORE LOUD THAN DEEP. IF YOU HAVE A STOCK CONVERTER THEN IT QUIETS THE SOUND QUITE A BIT. i THINK I WILL BE CHANGING TO THE 50 SERIES DELTA FLOW...
