just wondering if any of you have an experience with the electronicly controlled shift improvement kits...
i wanna do some kind of kit, and plugging in and flipping a switch seems a hell of a lot easier...just wondering if it's gonna hurt more than help in the long run...

Default RE: shiftkit types

I installed a trans go shift kit on my '01 ram. Theres no switches or anything to flip. It helped a lot with shifting, my trucks shifts a lot quicker than stock and it does awesome when going through the mountains. If you go this route I hope your comfortable tearing apart your valve body because you have to drill holes, install new springs, and some other stuff. I'm glad I installed mine though.

pretty much all of my previous cars have had shift kits in them, as well as my current (87 gn) but i've never had a tranny that had the option of an elctronicly controlled kit, that's the one i'd like to know about mainly
