Default dodge emblems

Any tricks to taking off the dodge emblems off the side of the truck and the tailgate, with out ruining anything?

I've taken the emblems off of every vehicle that I have owned. Take a hair dryer to heat them up. The ones on the back you should be able to use your finger nail to start them then just peel slowly. On the side ones I found that heating them up and then using a plastic scraper(being careful not to go along the paint) works wonders. But then you have the adhesive left and the only way to get that off is some good old fasioned elbow grease. Make sure you keep it moist and just rub it with a clean terry cloth towel and will come off. Plan on taking your time to do this though. Finish off with some polishing compound and your good to go.

I used a heat gun (on low!) to remove the emblem. Then I used an eraser wheel to remove the rest of the adheasive. It was a snap!
