Plenum Gasket Cost at a shop to fix?
I did a search, really didnt find what I needed...anyways...I have still been lurking around
I thought I was going to sell my truck when I got a new job that required me to drive a good amount, but I picked up another mustang which is my other love and was able to keep the truck since I owe nothing on it. ANyways, I need to get the plenum fixed, putting a quart of oil in it every 1000 miles or so aint to good. I was just wondering before I start calling shops, what should I expect to pay in labor to get this done. Im gonna order the hughes kit with all the gaskets and stuff, I could do this myself, but I dont have the time, id rather just get it done, that way its done. Thanks all!

It could vary...theres a post that was posted on just a few days ago about plenum gasket replacement cost.

It only cost me $160 to have mine done, parts included, but I was good friends with the mechanic. Best thing to do is put a few more quarts of oil in it over the next few months while making good friends with the local mechanic....

i have seen guys get charged 6 to 7 hundred dollars at the dealer and around 350 to 550 dollar at a garage....or you can do it yourself and spend a day and about 100 dollars..
