Default Clicking noise

Im getting a clikcing noise when i accelarate and also when i engage the brakes heavily doing about 30mph. If i dont take the truck over 30 i can apply brake without the clicking any thoughts? Ive had right bearign replaced along with recent brakes, the clicking started once the bearign was replaced. Im also running 20's on it could that have any effect. ALso the noise seems like from the rear....

Clicking is usually u-joints of some type. Most likely your rear drive shaft. You can pop the drive shaft off (its held on by 4 bolts) and see how freely the u-joints move

How many miles? 4x4?

I recently replaced all my u-joints. Both driveshafts 5k ago and I just had to do my front axle ones because they were clicking really bad. I have 115k on my truck. I hope its not the axle ones. Cause its a PITA if you do it yourself, and expensive if you pay somebody.

I had the rear clicking noise as well
changed the rear u-joint and boom clicking no more
btw if you do it yourself be carefull w/ the needle bearings theres alot of them and can make an easy fix turn bad

When you say rear u-joints do you mean rear drive shaft u-joints??? Is there u-joints on the rear axle?? I also have clicking, but have replaced both front bearings, u-joints on the front axle and pulled the front drive shaft and it was still clicking so the drive shaft is not a problem.

By the way, the front axle was easy...just need to get the axle hub nut off so I could get the bearing off, and then carefully pulled the axle shafts...

Yes rear driveshaft. The rear axle has no u-joints.

U-Joint maintenance is something I would not put off. Nothing worse than dropping the driveshaft while cruising along at 50+ mph.
