Hello everyone,
tonight i went to touch my overhead console light and it broke and only 1 side now lights up not both lights.Is there a easy fix to this or do i need to replace the entire console?

it broke as in the part you push up to turn it on is loose? that happened to me and i just took it off and put a longer screw in it. i dont know if thats what you mean?

 

When you push up on the lens to light it up it doesnt click back and it doesnt light up.You know when you push up it clicks and then lights up and you click it again and it shuts off?Well when you try to click it it justs comes up and nothing happens it doesnt light up or come back feels like a spring or something broke.

mine did the same, what I needed to do was pull the assembly out and crazy glue the piece that was broken. Works like new now.

Doesnt hurt to pull it out and see what your up against

 

I guess its part of the wiring harness for the top.I went ahead and ordered a new harness, i tried gluing it but it wont click, so hopefully i can put it back together this week.

Let me know If ya need parts, I have an extra one sitting in my garage, minus the specticle door but all lenses and bulbs are good, it is gray.

 

If it still has the harness in it as well i`ll take it, if you can email me at droptopcat70@peoplepc.com with a price with shipping and a address and i`ll get back to you ASAP and we can go from there.
