borgenson shaft
Just put one on yesterday, had a hell of time extending it to bolt it on. Doesn't quite feel right driving around either, feels like it's binding.
I wasn't expecting this........Anybody else have any problems with them?

Did you follow the install instructions?

As far as anyone else, I don't think anyone here has a borgeson shaft. [&:]

I followed the directions allthough they were different then what your link said. The unit may be a little different for an 01 model.
The slip feature was REAL tight. Not at all like the factory shaft. Maybe it's TOO tight, I might have to give em a call tomorrow.

I had one on my 98. It took a little sac to extend it but it extended. I didnt notice any binding but I did notice a lot of steering slop gone.

Hey guys, I talked to Borgenson this morning and they said to give it one more day and see if it works in. And after a few trips around the job sight today, it did just that. I checked the fasteners again and no problems. It did get rid of some of the slop so I'm happy.
Not much left to replace on the front end now. Only thing left is the steering linkage minus an idler arm that's a month old. I know the outer tierods need to be replaced very soon but I think I'll just do the whole thing and call it a NEW AND IMPROVED FRONT END!

Thanks guys, take it easy

It seems like a high quality part, got rid of some of my slop. It was also nice not to have to use the steering extension for my body lift. It's looks like it will last forever too me. Kinda expensive but since the original was a POS might as well put a good replacement in.
Yeah, I like it alot.
