personally i think the hard covers are better as you can LOCK them. most of the "soft" covers you can lock in place but don't lock the tailgate so security is not there.

Just get a locking tailgate insert like the ones from Bully or Pop&Lock. I put one of the Bully ones on my tailgate when I installed my tonneau. Works great.

hmm i have never seen that before... good to know..
i didn't know how many of them it was going take to kick my ***, but i knew how many they were going to use. that's some useful piece of information right there.

About bed covers. I've got a soft cover on mine but it's a 6' box. Don't recall ever having seen one on an 8 footer.
