Default Child restraint connection removal

I have a 1998 single cab. I've been outside looking for a way to make more room behind my seats for my audio system.

If I can remove those unsightly child restraint hookups attached to the rear of the cab, it should free up about 2 more inches.

Has anyone removed them or have any ideas on how-to? They seem to be internally connected to the back cab wall...

I wanted to take mine off as well......but it never happened. My guess is that you have to take the whole back panel off to get them off and I didnt want to do that.
